| Installation Instructions
Prerequisite before installation
Step 1: Detach the front glass panel carefully from the switch module using a screwdriver.
Step 2: L - Load F - Fan N - Neutral P1 - EB/UPS P2 - EB
P1 Powers - L1, L2, L3, L4 P2 Powers - L5, L6, H1 & H2(High Load)
Follow the wiring diagram and connect the phase, neutral and load wires to the switch module terminals.
Note: If you want to separate loads between UPS and EB connect P1 to UPS and P2 to EB. If no separation is required, loop P1 & P2 and connect to EB or UPS. Connect High loads to H1 & H2.
Step 3: Use the screws provided to fix the device to the console box.
Note: While inserting the wire into the terminal make sure the copper ends are tightly twisted.
Step 4: Clip the front panel to the device and turn the power ON.
Note: Due to change in capacitance, the switch may become unresponsive after fixing the glass panel. Please turn off the main power and turn it back on.
Safety Warnings:
-
Do not install the device without turning off the main power supply.
-
Do not connect the glass panel without turning off the main power supply.
-
For Loads L1 to L6, Do not connect loads greater than 6A. Each light switch is rated upto 6A resistive only.
-
For Load H1 & H2, Do not connect loads greater than 16A. Each High Load switch is rated upto 16A resistive only.
-
Take extra precaution while connecting phase and neutral wires to the device and the load.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
-
Do not connect loads in series or in parallel to one 6A light switch. Only connect single light or single fan loads to each 6A switch.
-
Only a single load (6A) with a maximum of 40W is supported in cases of LED & CFL fitting. Anything more may weld the switch contacts and leave the load in a permanently ON state.
-
12V And 24V power supply based LED light strips are NOT supported in 6A light switch. 240V Mains Voltage LED Strip Lights are supported in 6A light switch.
