Tannoy Dual Concentric
At the heart of the PCI 6 DC LP’s incredible performance, you will find an all-new development of our legendary and exclusive Dual concentric driver technology. Designed and engineered in the UK, this listener-focused new driver handles up to 280 Watts and is extremely easy to drive. The compact, stylish and state-of-the-art design comprises a single 165 mm (6.00") LF/MF driver with a blue Kevlar cone high-excursion rubber surround and centrally located HF drive. This new Dual Concentric driver offers enhanced dispersion – creating an even more balanced spread of sound around the listening area.
The introduction of the Omnimagnet configuration allows the high-frequency driver to be placed even closer to the acoustic centre of the Bass / Mid-range driver which further improves driver integration and time alignment. These time-coherent, point source dispersion characteristics make this latest version of the Dual Concentric philosophy perfect for premium audio listening. Low-frequency performance is full and impactful, the mid-range is detailed, and high frequencies deliver amazing clarity. Although the smallest member of the PCI in-ceiling range, this compact model features the same technology used in the larger PCI models allowing it to perform well beyond expectations. The PCI 6 DC LP features a low-profile chassis design to offer great sound in from tight spaces and is ideal for medium to Large sized rooms.
Torus Ogive Waveguide
Performance is further enhanced by the implementation of Tannoy’s highly innovative Torus Ogive Waveguide which allows rapid wavefront expansion further improving high-frequency directivity for a remarkably focused image placement.
Elegant Simplicity
Engineered to the highest standard the PCI range features powder-coated perforated UV-resistant steel mesh grills that protect from dust and can be removed and painted to match any décor. Unlike many in-ceiling loudspeakers, the PCI DC range has an extremely thin bezel for unobtrusive installation. A rigid diecast chassis improves bass performance and an innovative self-aligning clamping system makes the single integrated unit easy to install.
