Velodyne SC602E Subcontractor Amplifier is a 400W (x2) dynamic, 200W (x2) RMS, two unit high, rack-mountable dual-mono amplifier. This efficient, low noise, digital Class D design is very musical sounding, with superior headroom for clean , powerful bass. The SC-602 amp is digitally tuned with DSP software, to perfectly match the SC-600 IW (In-Wall) and SC-600 IF/IC (In-Floor/ln-Ceiling) subwoofers. Digital precision assures maximum driver excursion and bass output, without risk of overdriving the subwoofer. Crossover frequency, duplicate volume controls and mic jack for room-bass EQ are on the front panel making setup a breeze. Configuring the amp to optimize the SC-600 sub's performance is easily done on the front panel. Standard speaker wire is all that's needed to connect to the SC-600 IW or SC-600 IF/IC.
One-Touch, Auto-EQ Room Bass Correction
Subwoofer placement in a room can dramatically impact its performance. An installed sub is physically fixed, so for the best sound it must be equalized for its room placement and environment. Place the included mic in the preferred listening position and simply push the EO button on the remote control. The internal signal generator's tones are digitally analyzed by DSP and the 5-band equalizer is automatically adjusted for the best bass performance, regardless of woofer placement. With the SC-602, both subs are simultaneously analyzed to deliver optimum performance.
Convenient Remote Control
The included full-feature remote control makes it a snap to access your listening preferences from the comfort of your favorite chair.
- Presets: Choose between four presets - Movies, R&B/Rock, Jazz/Classical or Games. Push a single button to customize your listening preferences for any performance or program material.
- Night Mode: Limits the maximum output of the subs for late night listening or to be considerate of close neighbors.
- Volume Control: Balance the output from the subwoofers with your system.
- Ught Control: Tum the blue front panel lights on your amp on or off.
- Phase Adjustment: Get the best possible match between your front system speakers and subs.
